Tube Bundle Pulling Operations

The tube bundle puller is used to safely and efficiently remove tube bundles from heat exchangers for maintenance. The maintenance usually includes retubing, blinding and hydrojetting.

1. Preparation:Shut down the system, isolate the heat exchanger, and remove the flanges.
2. Setup:Position the puller around the tube bundle and secure it using hooks or grips.
3. Extraction:Apply controlled hydraulic force to pull the bundle straight out without damage.
4. Completion:Once removed, the bundle is inspected or cleaned, and the puller is used to reinsert it back into the shell.
